Effective date: September 2, 2026
Supreme Barbershop (“we”, “us” or “our”) is a barbershop at 7906A 104 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta. We respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
We handle personal information in accordance with Alberta’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
Our owner acts as our privacy contact. For any question, access request or complaint about your personal information:
Email: SupremeBarber104@gmail.com
Phone: (780) 705-0790
Mail: Privacy Contact, Supreme Barbershop, 7906A 104 Street NW, Edmonton, Alberta T6E 4C8
We collect only what we need to book you in and cut your hair well:
We do not ask for your date of birth, your gender, your financial history or your government identification, and you do not need to give us any of it to book an appointment.
Most of the time you give it to us directly, in the shop, on the phone, or when you book. We also receive booking and payment information through Square Appointments, and basic technical information automatically when you browse our website.
We will not use your information for a new purpose that you would not reasonably expect without asking you first.
By giving us your personal information for a stated purpose, you consent to us using it for that purpose. You can withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual limits and to reasonable notice. Email SupremeBarber104@gmail.com or tell any of our barbers. We will explain what withdrawing means in practice. For example, if you withdraw consent to us holding your phone number, we will no longer be able to send you appointment reminders.
To stop marketing messages specifically, use the unsubscribe link in any email we send, reply STOP to a text, or simply tell us. We handle commercial messages in line with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it. We share it only with service providers who help us run the shop, and only as much as they need:
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, such as in response to a court order, or where it is necessary to protect someone’s safety.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential to make pages load and work. Others come from the third-party content we embed, such as Google Maps, Google reviews and Instagram, and those providers may set their own cookies and collect information under their own privacy policies.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Essential parts of the site may not work properly if you do.
Our website and booking records are held by service providers who may store or process data outside Alberta, including in the United States. While information is in another country, it may be accessible to the courts and law enforcement of that country. We choose providers that offer a comparable level of protection.
We keep appointment and service records for as long as you remain a client and for a reasonable period afterwards, normally up to three years from your last visit, so we can pick up where we left off if you come back. Payment and financial records are kept for seven years, as tax law requires. Once we no longer need information, we securely delete or destroy it.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to how sensitive the information is. That includes password protection and limited access on the devices and accounts we use, keeping any paper records out of public areas, restricting staff access to what each person needs to do their job, and relying on established providers such as Square for payment processing so that card data does not sit in our systems.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach of our records creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta, as PIPA requires.
We cut children’s hair, and for a client under 16 we take booking details from the parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child through our website.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, what we have used it for, and who we have given it to. You can also ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
Write to SupremeBarber104@gmail.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We will respond within 45 days, as PIPA requires. If we need longer, we will tell you why. There is normally no charge for a personal request; if a request is unusually large and a fee applies, we will give you an estimate first and you can decide whether to proceed. If we cannot give you access to something, we will explain why.
Please come to us first, so we have a chance to put it right. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact the provincial regulator:
